ORIGINAL ARTWORKS

Upon receiving payment for an original artwork you have purchased, the artist will provide you with a certificate of authenticity. This certificate guarantees the value of the piece and confirms that it is an original artwork created by the artist, not a reproduction. Keeping this proof is important as it demonstrates your ownership of the original artwork. It includes information validating your legitimacy as the owner.

Once the artwork is received in perfect condition at the buyer's residence, the new owner assumes responsibility for its care. In other words, Annie Lavoie Artist.e assumes no liability after the artwork has been fully delivered if it is later damaged by breakage, fire, theft, or vandalism.

Care Tips: Artwork should be stored in a low-humidity environment, and the canvas should not be exposed directly to sunlight. Otherwise, the wood frame may warp, and the canvas colors may fade over time. The artist uses high-quality materials and mediums, ensuring the beauty and durability of the artwork in the long term.

The artist retains copyright to the artwork. Plagiarism and the sale of reproductions of the artwork without the artist's consent are strictly prohibited.

SHIPPING POLICY

Please note that delivery is not included in the displayed canvas price, and additional fees may apply for home delivery. Shipping costs are included for deliveries within Canada. Canvases are shipped from Laval (QC) via GLS Canada.

Orders will be processed and shipped within 5 to 10 business days (allow for additional delivery time, which will vary by location). Ground shipments will include a tracking number.

Artworks ordered together may not be delivered at the same time. You will be notified of the delivery timeline and the estimated arrival date for each order. If an unforeseen issue arises with delivery times, you will be notified within 7 days of placing your order.

REFUNDS

It is important to note that artworks are non-refundable after purchase. The deposit to reserve a canvas is also non-refundable. However, if you change your mind about your choice of artwork, please contact Annie Lavoie Artist.e promptly.

DAMAGES DURING TRANSPORT

If the artwork arrives damaged, you can request a refund or an exchange depending on the situation. You must notify us of the issue within 24 hours of receiving the item by emailing lavoieannieart@gmail.com. If the return is authorized by the seller, you must ship the item to the address provided by the seller to receive a refund. The returned product must be packaged in equivalent quality and sturdiness to the original packaging. You may also return the item in person directly to the artist's studio at a prearranged time.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your item. We will also inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

​

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original payment method.

​

Once the returned product arrives at the studio, the seller becomes the owner of the returned artwork.

STUDIO PICK-UP

Annie Lavoie Artist.e offers the option to pick up your purchase at her art studio within a designated geographic area. To learn more about this option, please contact lavoieannieart@gmail.com.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International shipping is not an option at checkout. However, Annie Lavoie Artist.e is proud to promote her art worldwide. If you reside outside of Canada and wish to acquire a piece signed by Annie Lavoie Artist.e, please contact us at lavoieannieart@gmail.com so we can guide you through the process and provide details on the associated fees.
